Introducing a new range of very high power 1200 watt CW and 1500 watt CW desktop amateur radio band power amplifiers
brought to you by Intertronic Solutions Inc. and Linear Amp UK Ltd.
The Discovery series of amplifiers are designed and built in the UK by Linear Amp UK Ltd, one of the world’s leading amplifier manufacturers, specializing in high power RF tube amplifiers.
The amplifiers use large GS31 or GS35 ceramic triode tubes. These very rugged tubes will operate for long key down periods at output powers of up to 1200W or 1500W CW with 80 – 100 watts of drive. They are ideal for working DX and EME.
A heavy-duty toroidal transformer and integral high capacity forced air cooling for the tube are used to ensure reliability.
The Discovery range features soft start and a 3min start up timer. There is also protection for Plate over-current, Grid over-current, over-drive and internal tube flashover.
Other non-standard frequencies and power levels for professional and industrial use are available. Typical delivery time is less than 2 weeks.
